I love this point because it was absolutely true. For me, I had very little money back in the 80s as I didn't really have an allowance, and any little part-time job I had earned me barely enough to get snacks drinks on the weekends after playing football or basketball with my friends. Buying albums was a big financial commitment back then. It was a difficult debate each week and you lived or died with your decision.
