I loved reading Q back in the day David. You're right, The Who was a massive influence on the band, on Vedder in particular. You can hear their influence throughout their entire career.

I'm glad this piece was able to give you a closer look at the band. Sometimes I think Nirvana gets the bulk of the attention from that scene, and it's totally understandable that they do, but Pearl Jam has a long and rich history and I think it's one that should be told more often.
