I'll never forget the hugeness of this release. The absolute gigantic commotion Losing My Religion caused which sent the band into a stratosphere all their own.
As for a favorite R.E.M. song, well that's like deciding which part of oxygen is the most important. They have so many timeless songs all throughout their career. They never, ever got old or stale. If I'm forced to pick, Automatic for the People is probably my favorite album because I don't know that I've ever "felt" another album like that one. The mood they created on that record is second to none. "Find The River" is my favorite song on that record and is possibly my favorite R.E.M. song. Ask me again tomorrow, it may be "Begin the Begin" and the list goes on.
