I'm with you Scott. If I had written a serious piece on this it would absolutely have the slant of how the early 90s rock music essentially cancelled 80s hair metal. It's a very interesting topic actually but yeah, I thought having a bit of fun with it all felt better at the time. Besides, it was late at night and I was bleary-eyed when I wrote it!
