Thanks for reading and joining the conversation Dave! You're right about the stage setups for many artists and bands these days with expanded crews, lighting, props, dancers, etc., it all factors in. A band like Pearl Jam doesn't even use screens or fancy lighting and no one else is on stage with them so in today's world, they're as "no-frills" as a rock concert gets. They've done a very good job up until now in keeping prices reasonable so I can't kill them. I don't mind paying fair market value at all but things have become so complicated in just having a CHANCE to eventually buy the tickets, the experience and excitement I once had in the process are now gone.
