Shed your fur but the wolf still rages beneath.
New friends replace old, but who’s going to replace you?
The spider bite stings the same.

You gave me that rusted key because it’s as worn as your heart,
so easy to turn.

Confusion spills all the way down to your shadow,
where no shade or sunlight can hide.
You’ve kissed everyone else goodbye never…
